If you have an induction cooker, you may know that the induction cooker uses a magnetic field to generate heat. Therefore, all pots and pans used at the top of the induction furnace must have magnetic bottom for heating.
Most pure metal pots, such as cast iron, steel and some stainless steel, can be used with induction stoves. However, if you mix other ingredients, or if the pan is made of aluminum, glass or ceramics, your food cannot be cooked.
All you need is a refrigerator magnet. Put a magnet at the bottom of the pot or pan, turn the pot over and shake it gently. Is the magnet stuck? If so, the pot can be used on an induction cooker.
It should be noted that the magnet needs to adhere well to the pot. If the baking pan slides easily, its magnetism may not be enough to work properly on the induction furnace.
