Consider employing bonded neodymium magnets for your application as a more flexible alternative to sintered neodymium magnets. These magnets are made with bonded neodymium powder. Melted powder is combined with a polymer. Components are then pressed or extruded to form the finished product. Bonded Neodymium magnets may be magnetized into intricate designs with many poles. Bonded neodymium magnets, albeit significantly weaker than sintered neodymium magnets, offer greater design freedom. Additionally, they are lighter and have a lower permissible temperature than samarium cobalt (coercivity). They do, however, provide good value for applications that need for a smaller magnet or make use of radial rings.
